Aberdeen Area

Through its 13 Service Units, the Aberdeen Area provides health care to approximately 94,000 Indians on reservations located in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa. Its facilities include nine hospitals, eight health centers, two school health stations and several smaller health stations and satellite clinics. The Aberdeen Area features a comprehensive health care delivery system, including inpatient and outpatient care, preventive clinics, research, and community-based projects. This Area offers a diversity of climate, terrain and population.
